The instructions were poor to complete assembly so if you buy this, budget some extra dollars for a bike shop to assemble. I tried to follow the instructions the best I could, but had issues with making the necessary adjustments for both front and back brakes. Eventually, I DID have to take it to a local bike shop to get the back brake fixed.

Bikes from bikesdirect seem like a good value but there are few owner reviews on the web. Most comments found are from people who have no actual experience on Motobecane bikes. These commenters often advise against buying a bike online and going to your local bike shop (LBS). I do not work for Motobecane, bikesdirect or any other bike company.
